Have you ever wondered how to make homemade dog treats ?
Preparing a snack for your own dog may not be as convenient as bringing it in from the pet store, but there are many other options when choosing to do it yourself. You can avoid allergens, make them as healthy as you want, and treat your dog yourself and take care of your dog's special needs. Ask your vet if you have any specific problems!
If you've never prepared snacks for dogs, you should start with one of the dog snack recipes listed below. In fact, I would recommend these recipe's to anyone, regardless of their baking capabilities. Who doesn't like easy, right?
I've made these tasty homemade dog treats for my own dog several times now , and she just absolutely 'loves them!' you honestly cant go wrong. (When you make them yourself at least you know exactly whats in them).

Homemade Dog Treats With 2 Ingredients
2 mugs of 100% organic whole wheat flour (or wheat germ, spelt, rolled oats — or a mixture of these)
2 (4oz) jars of pureed baby food– beef,sweet potato, chicken, etc.
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix together ingredients to form a stiff dough. add extra flour or water if required.
roll dough out on a lightly floured surface, roll it out evenly until it’s about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut into desired shape.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, place treats about 1/2 inch apart. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before storing in a paper bag (storing in an air-tight container will make them soft, but they’re still edible)
Homemade Dog Biscuits
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup oats
1/2 cup flaxseed
1/2 to 1 cups beef broth
1/4 cup peanut butter
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, oats and flaxseed. Mix in 1/2 cup beef broth and peanut butter. Mix well, adding additional beef broth if necessary to bring the mixture together to a thick dough. Form into a ball and turn out on a lightly floured surface.
Roll to about 1/4 inch thickness and cut out to desired shape.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway.
Cool completely, then keep in an airtight container for about one week.
